EDITORIAL: The shapes and textures of the natural world are interpreted as hair sculptures by Marina Roy and Albert Plekhov

Taking its inspiration from the shapes and textures found in the natural world, The Flora presents a series of hairstyles which emulate patterns found in nature. Created by frequent collaborators, hairstylist Marina Roy and photographer Albert Plekhov, each image takes a different habitat, plant or creature as its starting point. A spiralling shell, the veins on a leaf, soft moss and prickles on a thistle are all reimagined as unique sculpted hair pieces in this ode to the untouched beauty in nature.
