Petros Chrisostomou’s photographs seem to capture the impossible. In the images below, he depicts unfeasibly gigantic stacks of hair which dwarf the highbrow architectural spaces they inhabit. As it turns out, the New York based artist is a master illusionist, using miniature model interiors to create his uncanny scenes. The resulting images are both playful and quietly beautiful, as Chrisostomou proves that it’s possible to transform even the most mundane objects into majestic totems.
