LIB is Alexander Ekman’s new choreography which has just premiered in Berlin. It is also his first time working with the Staatsballett Berlin, where he continues to bring the fast-paced timing and humour that he’s known for to the stage. Having been fascinated by the creations of hair artist Charlie Le Mindu, the two teamed up and Ekman created a choreography of clever micro and macro movements that bring Le Mindu’s head-to-toe hair costumes to life.
