Gosha Rubchinskiy’s AW16 show, staged in an old theatre in Paris, made reference to a host of subcultures; punks, skaters and skinheads. Framed around the theme ‘Save and Survive’, the collection was modelled by street cast youngsters from all over the world. They wore utilitarian, streetwear inspired garments which have become Rubchinskiy’s signature style. Led by hairdresser Gary Gill, the hair team mirrored this raw aesthetic, creating spikes and severe buzzcuts dyed in bold block colours.

Photographer Milo Black captured the behind-the-scenes action in the run up to the show.
